Sanders in Mackinac Island

It was packed, but the service was good. We just got ice cream. It was $6.75 for a double scoop in a waffle cone. So it was pricey, but fine.

The ice cream selection is great having tons of flavors available. They have great service and the location is great if your downtown and want some ice cream or fudge!

I love Saunders bumpy cake and hot fudge so I figured that their candies would be great. Big mistake, and total waste of money. The buckeye candies are terrible, worse buckeye I have been had. The texture was all off, and the flavor was not very good either. Chocolate dipped pretzels were nasty. Chocolate on then was okay, but the pretzels were stale and very cheap so that when bitten they fall apart all over. Very thin layer of chocolate on them. Thechoclae for both products was terrible, tasted like very cheaply made chocolate that was not worth the price we paid. Only reason I give two stares is because the staff was friendly and prompt about the service.

The ice cream is good but the customer service sucks . Rude , impolite and unprofessional staff at the counter. Did not have a good experience unfortunately .

Yummy ice cream. Reminded me of home as we have a Sanders too.

Fudge and ice cream are exceptional. Make the trip in you will not be disappointed.

The employees were very very rude to us when we were asking questions. We wanted a small portion of ice cream in a waffle cone and the girl very snotty told us that is not an option and in order to get a waffle cone we have to buy and pay the price of 3 scoops. 1 person did not get ice cream in my group because of how rude the employees were. Then the ice cream wasn't very good quality and had ice chunks in it. We paid almost $30 for 3 smalls and they barely got ate. Ridiculous. Don't go here!

I got Mackanac Island fudge ice cream. It was. Good but the scoops were small!!

They were a little busy, forgot some items but charming.

Waited in line for 10 minutes while 3 or more employees made one customers order. Afterwards they all walked away from the growing line behind us. We decided to leave and not buy anything, and then all the employees came back and started helping customers. Would not recommend.

Omg I love this place. It smells so freaking delicious! We got some sea foam and dark chocolate sea salt caramels... so delicious!!! Everything in here looks great..I had a hard time making up my mind lol. You can also get milkshakes and smoothies, which looked super good as well. Will definitely be back!

Delicious treats and teas! The store is visually appealing and reels in its future patrons with robust aromas. If Hell is filled with gluttons then I have officially joined its ranks!

Staff is super friendly! Fudge is very reasonable one slice for $8.95 or two for $16.95. They have a wide variety of fudge and treats for the whole family. Also ice cream, coffee and smoothies. Smoothies however are not real fruit. Its more like a slushi.

The service on the fudge side of the store was great. The employees were just so friendly! We weren't planning on buying fudge, but I'm glad we did. I wanted to get some just because the employees were so good to us!

Didn't have any fudge this time visiting but I did have their sherbet which was delicious. I love that they stay open later for the people who stay overnight on the island. They even reopened after the fireworks display on the 4th of July. Nice job!

Plain awful in every way

There was a poster behind the counter that said "buy two slices of fudge, get a large bag of popcorn for free". When we asked about it, the employee said she had never heard of it. We asked her to ask someone else, who also didn't know about it. They asked the manager who said it was old and "we don't really do that anymore". I told her they should honor it or take it down, she couldn't ever give me a straight answer and started ignoring the topic. The fudge was fine but the service was poor and we had to wait for a while. Had much better experiences at the other shops, especially Joann's, which had EXCEPTIONAL customer service.

Ok, so my mom REALLY had to go to the bathroom but they said that they couldn't let her in. It got REALLY bad, like she couldn't walk. Then the blonde girl who gave us our ice cream went and begged the manager to let her in, but GUESS WHAT!! THE ***** MANAGER WOULDN'T LET HER IN!!!!!! COME ON PEOPLE!!!! WE ARE HUMAN!!! WHEN WE HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM, WE HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM!!! KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG!!!!! I don't know if their ice cream was poisoned or something, cause the NEXT MORNING my mom AND MY SISTER had the same episode!!!! Trust me, do NOT go to Sanders!!!
